It is now accepted as scientific fact that many non-organic cosmetics that we use in our day to day life  for our skin, hand or face contain harmful chemicals (petroleum derivatives ) and can be absorbed into the body. 
It's time to change our habits because chemicals used in non organic cosmetics are linked to cancer, allergies, birth defects and other health problems.

Unfortunately the chemical industries continue to produce and release thousands of chemical compounds every year, in most cases with no testing and understanding of their impacts on people and the planet.

Check ingredients in products that you buy!

Avoid products that contain Teflon, PTFE, and ‘fragrance’ or Parabens, Artificial colours, Artificial fragrance, SLS (sodium lauryl sulphate), Zirconium, Phthalates (DBP / DMP / DEP). 

Even if a product is advertised as fragrance-free or natural, look at the ingredient list and make sure that ‘fragrance’ is not included.

Be wary of claims that products are natural as such claims do not guarantee that products are free of harmful chemicals.  Always check the ingredients.
